There are over a million cases of skin cancer every year. However, it is curable in most cases if caught and treated in its early stages. Your chances of developing a sunburn are greatest between 10am and 4pm, when the sun's rays are strongest. According to Amercian Academy of Dermatology, make sure to apply a large amount of broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF of at least 30 or more to all exposed skin and reapply every 2 hours.

A=Asymmetrical, shape of mole
B=Border-irregular or undefined border of mole
C=Color-Shades of tan, brown, black; occasionally white, red, or blue.
D= Diameter-Note the size in mm
E= How has the mole changed
